Pairings
> A Multiship account
---> Pairings will be determined by chemistry between characters. Other writers should always feel free to dm me about shipping, but my Eichi is open to just about anything, so a few nudges IC may do the trick! Eichi himself will be flirtatious to just about anyone.
-----> That said, my Eichi is very DENSE and bad at making friends. Unless it's someone he's already very close to (i.e. Wataru or Keito) any romance (unless planned out-of-character ahead of time) is going to take time to get into, and even then, he may be inclined to stray away from that big, scary "Love" word for quite a while
---> Pairings with the first-years-turned-second-years (e.g. Tori, Hajime) make me, personally, a little uncomfortable, but they're not something I'm opposed to seeing, nor are they something I would never rp
---> I WILL NOT pair with any of the new young characters (e.g. Aira)
> Serious NSFW rps are in dms only, and due to me being on the asexual spectrum, I often grow uncomfortable with these sorts of rps and may take a very long time to reply until I'm in an open mood again. For this reason, they are not rps I participate in often, if at all

Headcanon Dump

> Eichi is half Russian (on his mother's side), half Japanese (on his father's side)
> Eichi is fluent in Russian (a pure headcanon) and almost fluent in English (canon)
> Eichi is an only child because his parents have trouble conceiving; he was conceived using in-vitro! Neat.
> Eichi harbors great dislike towards both parents, but seems to have extra issues with his mother
> While vehemently hating his deceased grandfather, he is actually quite fond of his grandmother (canon), and a great deal of his issues with his grandfather come from how terrinly he treated her (headcanon)
> Eichi, being an idol nerd, has merch of every major group. He likes everyone's music in different ways
> Eichi has a mild allergy to beestings, but carries an Epi-pen around with him anyway
> Eichi has a portable oxygen device available for him at lives (canon: see Quarrelfes)
> He behaves himself more now that he's out of school; Eichi is far more likely to help someone than he is to ruin them, but he still enjoys teasing everyone half-to-death
> Eichi is slow to admit he's in love, and until recently, had only a vague understanding of what being in love (rather than having a crush or simply generally loving someone) consisted of
Health Headcanons
> Eichi suffers from poor mental and physical health
> Eichi's medical history is long and complex
> Eichi will not go into detail about his medical history unless he trusts the person listening. Wataru and Keito have both canonly been companions for him while in the hospital, so they are people he will more readily confide in regarding medical problems.
> I will do my best to portray Eichi's health in a realistic way; click on the symbols below if you wish to see a very detailed breakdown of the facets of Eichi's health
> His physical medical history consist of three major areas of concern:
---> ♡ His heart
---> ♪ His lungs
---> ☆ His immune system
> As stated earlier, he also struggles with his mental health
---> ❂ His mental health
Cardiac

> Eichi was born with transposition of the great arteries and a ventricular septal defect. This means that the aorta and pulmonary arteries where attached to the incorrect areas of the heart, but because of a ventricular septal defect, blood was still able to be exchanged through his body, making him a viable newborn.
> Surgery was done immediately upon birth to swap the vessels and close the hole in his septum; there was a distinct lack of mother-infant bonding both because of this surgery + subsequent time in the NICU and his mother's own personality and interest level in caring for a child.
> This surgery left him with nerve damage to the heart, and he had cardiac block. This is when the nervous system of the heart has trouble communicating with itself. It causes a low heart rate, which manifests in symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, confusion, fainting, shortness of breath, etc.
> A pediatric pacemaker was placed to resolve this issue when he was a bit older. He had since had the pacemaker replaced with a newer model that is implanted directly into the cardiac muscle and is considerably smaller. The pacing mode is DDD (haha a pun) which means the pacemaker is able to read and shock both the ventricle and atrium into action as needed; this is the usual pacing mode for heart block.
> These procedures have left him with many surgical scars over his upper abdomen; he does not like others to see them. However, with the smaller pacemaker there is no visible bump on his abdomen (the usual place for pediatric pacemakers to rest) or under his collar bone (the usual place for adult pacemakers to rest).
> However, with these procedures, he's able to avoid taking heart medication.
> Although his heart is paced, he's still able to experience disrhythmias and palpitations if under distress.

Respiratory

> Eichi has chronic, moderate-to-severe asthma with several triggers
> As shown with how Eichi was able to breathe just fine when playing in an arcade with 3-A despite Keito's concerns (canon), his breathing has improved considerably over the years.
> During his childhood, he was more likely to get serious lung infections than other children his age.
> At one point, he was unable to sustain his breathing during a severe case of pneumonia, and he was put on a ventilator via a tracheostomy.
This means that he was under a medically-induced coma. Though all of his hospitalizations were traumatic, this particular occasions is something he has flashbacks of even now.
> He still has a tracheostomy scar, and is very sensitive over it; he's unlikely to show it to even close friends, usually concealing it with makeup or a collar.
> On a separate occassion, he also suffered from a lower respiratory infection that led to a collapsed lung. This was corrected with a chest tube insertion, and he still has the scar from this as well.
> (Warning for emetophobia) When short of breath due to exertion, Eichi has been known to vomit (canon).
> He maintains himself on three inhalers
---> A dry-powder inhaler used as a maintenance medication that decreases swelling in his lungs
---> A Cromolyn inhaler that he takes before practices and performances. This is a special type of inhaler that asthmatics use before doing strenuous activity that prevents asthma attacks,
---> A rescue inhaler. This is what asthmatics use when they are having an asthma attack. It can also be used before strenuous activity like the Cromolyn inhaler to prevent an attack. Eichi will use this before practices and performances if his health is in an already bad state.
> As stated earlier, he also keeps a portable oxygen machine with him for when his oxygen levels drop (measured with a device called a pulse oximeter, or pulse-ox for short). Oxygen, however, is a supplement, not a medication. Oxygen also will not reverse an asthma attack.

Auto-Immune

> Eichi has an unspecified auto-immune disease, which is something very common in the Tenshouin family.
> Autoimmune diseases cause a variety of symptoms, but the ones Eichi will complain of most (if he's not explicitly hiding the fact that he's experiencing them in the first place) is fatigue and chronic pain (essentially caused by widespread inflammation in his body, as most autoimmune diseases are).
> Eichi used to treat this with a mix of immuno-suppressant drugs, but that had lead to several dips in his blood counts and severe infections that would lead to long hospitalizations
> Nowadays, he is able to keep most of the inflammation down with an antimalarial drug often used to control the symptoms of Lupus (SLE)
> Because it is an autoimmune disease, however, Eichi is prone to exacerbations and remissions, which is why his health state is so variable: e.g. he is able to repeat Valkyrie's Tanabata choreography in Milky Way repeatedly without having any noticeable symptoms until he is forcibly stopped, but other times he can't even get through practices without running out of breath and becoming tired like in Diner Live.
> As a fun fact: Eichi is hypermobile or "double-jointed." This is more common in people with autoimmune diseases lile Lupus (SLE), but he is not able to contort himself like Wataru can.

Mental

> Eichi suffers from Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), both of which are untreated due to his family's aversion to mental health care
> A large predisposing factor to his mental illnesses is unresolved separation anxiety from his childhood (a headcanon), and this is further worsened due to his parents' continued high expectations of him coupled with their great disapproval over his choice in career, even if he is successfully running the entertainment branch of their family while also working as an idol (canon).
---> Neither parent expressed love towards him (hinted at in canon), which left him feeling alone through most major hospitalizations
> He also had a fragile support system thorughout his childhood.
---> Eichi was never one to socialize with others his age because of his physical illness and a general unfamiliarity with making and keeping friends (canon).
---> Keito and Hiyori were two people from his childhood that he spent the majority of his time with, though he and Hiyori never got along (canon)
---> Though a specified age period was never given, Eichi has also met Chiaki as a child during a shared hospital stay (canon). I headcanon that this happened either during middle school or during their first year at Yumenosaki, due to how they reference their classmates during the promise.
---> Eichi would often push friendly associates and servants alike away in bratty tantrums (canon)
---> Eichi's grandmother was the only consistent family member to show him kindness in moments of weakness and sorrow, but she was not a constant presence in his life, as she was a secondary relative (canon)
MDD
> Eichi's depression is manifested by a lack of self-esteem and occasional self-deprocation (both canon)
> Eichi has stated several times that he thinks of himself as a bad person deserving punishment and undeserving of love, and for most of his life, thought that he also shouldn't have friends
> Eichi has always assigned a poor value to his life, as shown in Magician's Assemble, when he stated that it would be okay if he droppped dead during a live, since it would boost the image of idols and guarantee og fine's victory, even though Eichi truly wanted to live more. He was also seen as a burden as a child by everyone around him (stated explicitly in Quarrelfes), which still carries heavily into how he carries himself and how much he allows himself to seem weak in front of others
> Despite this, Eichi has a distinct fear of death (Magicians Assemble, Quarrelfes), and when he was younger, he would often blow money and trample over others to try to make himself feel better, always to no avail (Quarrelfes)
> Eichi has stated in canon that he had always wanted to be someone loving that has many friends like Tsumugi
> Eichi still struggles with not expressing love towards others using mainly lavish gifts and sums of money, since that is how his parents would reward him as a child
> He thinks of fine as his new family, and enjoys eating with them now that they all live together (canon), stating in a side story that there's nothing he loves more than spending time with them (canon)
> By making a slow transition of letting people in, however, Eichi often finds himself in a state of panic where he believes that his friends or loved ones will leave or betray him in some way. However, he has stated and shown that even if Wataru would betray, he would be okay with that.
> Eichi occassionally still feels a great sense of guilt over pulling Keito away from his real dreams ("eating them"), and in his worst mental spirals, feels as if the only way he can right all he's done to his friend is to push him out of his life altogether. Since Quarrelfes, and their post-graduation separation due to being in different agencies, Eichi is far more stable around Keito, and feels comfortable in deeming them as equals.
> Because of his childhood, Eichi craves control over his life, but because friends and love are things that he has no power over, he's still struggling with accepting them as sources of joy, but he's trying his best.
PTSD
> For almost his entire life, Eichi has been subject to sudden and long hospitalizations
> The hospital is a very scary place for Eichi, and though he busies himself with books and games, he easily becomes lonely and withdrawn and scared unless others are with him
> He was often told as a child that he only had a few more months to live (canon: both in Akira's 1st person Eichi POV story and Quarrelfes), and this has lead to a hightened anxiety around doctors especially after screenings or diagnoses; his health has been stable for awhile, so this isn't as much of a problem nowadays. In his younger years, he would often throw tantrums over visiting or speaking with doctors
> Eichi was put under a medically induced coma at one time, and considers it his most terrifying hospital experience (headcanon)
> He avoids speaking about his hospital stays to even people he trusts, and has been known to experience dissociation when letting his mind wander to his experiences or when faced with another hospitalization
> Being this way, he often feels different from others in a negative way, and this is only worsened by what he did in Yumenosaki
> Going through periods of detachment or paranoia will lead directly to him having an episode of self-destructive behavior, such as intense practicing without breaks or a sudden removal from idol activities in an effort to punish himself
> Eichi also suffers from intrusive flashbacks and night terrors about his stays at the hospital
> Eichi also suffers from parasomnias (abnormal sleeping events) such as sleepwalking, sleep speaking, and episodes of sleep paralysis, as well as infrequent cycles of insomnia
> He's learned how to cope better with his trauma, though anything large like a significant flare up or a new diagnosis could lead to him likely suffering from a relapse
Etc
> When he was younger, Eichi would threaten to set things on fire (hinted at in canon), and has set a few small things ablaze, since it gave him a sense of control
> Eichi's parents married for monetary reasons; he has a very skewed vision of marriage and of falling in love.

AU Info
Along with some friends on twitter, my Eichi is written within the realm of a Monster AU. Specifically he's a dragon-human hybrid, and the edit displayed is mine.
In this form, he's physically stronger (e.g. better lifting ability, longer endurance, etc.), but still prone to illness.
Note:
The AU will be used in interactions between the other members of the AU. You can choose to ignore it altogether, as I'm also running regular rps out of the same account for convenience.
